Pastor Larry G. Meeks is a humble servant of God. He was raised in Bakersfield, CA and the son of Elder Reuben C. Meeks, the founder 13 churches in the Central Valley of California.
Pastor Larry Meeks was called to the ministry in 1988 and served faithfully in every church capacity. In 2005 he became the 5th Pastor of Williams Memorial Church. Under his leadership the church has grown greatly in numbers and spiritually.
Pastor Meeks is the Former Director of the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development for the State of California. He is a former School Board Member elected to that office for over 13 years. He is a well-known metal artist with many public art creations displayed throughout the city of Sacramento.
From 1990 to 2011, Pastor Meeks was a syndicated columnist with a weekly Q&A column that appeared in many cities across the nation.
Pastor Meeks has a Bachelor Degree from University of California at Davis, a Masters of Arts in Administration, another Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and two honorary Doctorate Degrees.
He is married to Dinnie Meeks since 1966. They have two children, Kimberley and Corey, and four grandchildren.
